We're gathering Monday, August 26th, at Kilroy's in Springfield, 5250 Port Royal Rd., from 6:30-8:30 pm. Come meet our Equality candidates and engage with our leaders and ground troops. Help make history!

We made history in 2017 when we elected the most diverse slate of women's equality champions to the General Assembly. And in 2018, not only did we kick out three conservative Congressional legislators and replace them with three powerful women, but the Equal Rights Amendment went to a vote on the floor of the House of Delegates. We fell just one vote short of passing the ERA and becoming the 38th and final state needed for the rights of women to be "ratified" and enshrined within the U.S. Constitution. The battle lines have been drawn for the November elections. This year we have the chance to make fundamental change.
Our phenomenal list, in formation, of honored guests and speakers includes Delegates Jennifer Carroll Foy and Hala Ayala and national NOW President Toni Van Pelt.
We hope you can join us but we realize that many of you live hours and hours away from northern Virginia. So, if you can't come, please pass on this invite or our facebook invite to your progressive and feminist lists and also consider making a modest donation to the PAC so we can get needed funds to the endorsed candidates as soon as possible.
See you at the party and at the polls and then in Richmond in January when we ratify the ERA.
For equality and justice,
Connie Cordovilla, Marj Signer, Pat Reuss
and the members and advisors of the VA NOW PAC.
